Excerpts from Chapter 2: Life Resurrection in Isaiah 61Text

Regarding Life Resurrection in the Isaiah 61, I would like to share some excerpts from Chapter 2 of my upcoming book:

Vs 1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners; 2 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord (And the day of vengeance of our God);

“Lord has anointed me”. The Word of God says elsewhere, in Acts 10:38: “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” The Holy Spirit’s power (in us as well as in Jesus) is what enables real change. It is God’s dunamos – His dynamic power to change lives and overcome spiritual oppression.
