Psalm 119:76: Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant.

Psalm 34:18: The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit

‍ ‍

Isaiah 49:13: Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing! For the Lord has comforted his people and will have compassion on his afflicted.

‍ ‍

Is 40:31 “…but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Rom 8:38-39  “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

II Corinthians 1:3-4 NKJV  “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

God’s comfort in the midst of trials, comfort when we experience loss. Comfort amidst an ongoing problem such as a physical condition or a broken relationship. And then there’s the pure comfort and peace of walking with God and knowing that “the steps of the righteous ordered of the Lord.” [Psalm 37:23]….That we are walking HIS way. Living HIS way, and that we can dwell in the peace of His presence, which is the greatest comfort of all.
